October morning at Parc des Dondaines<\/strong><\/h2>\n

October morning, autumn settling in quietly. We love starting the day here, just south of Lille-Europe<\/b> station, for a short run or a peaceful walk. Parc des Dondaines is one of our regular spots when we\u2019re in Lille<\/b> \u2014 and especially when we\u2019re staying at La Maison Fives<\/b><\/a>, our five-room hotel<\/b> tucked into the Lille Fives<\/b> Cail district.<\/p>\n

Calm, green and a bit urban \u2014 the perfect mix<\/strong><\/h2>\n

What we love here is this unique blend: nature and glass towers, stillness and business. It almost feels like a small Lillois version of Central Park. At 8am it\u2019s still quiet \u2014 joggers passing by, a few cyclists, and sometimes people walking their dogs. And that makes a real difference: in many Lille parks, dogs aren\u2019t allowed. Here at the Dondaines, they are welcome, and it really shows. Our border collie is obviously thrilled.<\/p>\n

An ideal spot for our guests<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For travellers looking for accommodation<\/b> or an unusual place to stay<\/b> in Lille<\/b>, Parc des Dondaines is a real bonus. Between stay and creation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We also love how lively the area is: on the street side you\u2019ll find our ceramic studio-shop<\/b> and artistic creations \u2014 a space where gallery<\/b> and shop<\/b> come together. After a green walk at the Dondaines, stepping into the studio to see pieces in progress or chat with us is often the natural follow-up to the morning.<\/p>\n

Practical info<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Parc des Dondaines<\/a> is easy to access from Lille-Europe<\/a> station and the city centre. Perfect for a nature break right in the heart of Lille Fives<\/b>.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re around for a weekend or a work trip, put your running shoes on at sunrise \u2014 we might cross paths. And if you prefer a slow walk, the morning stroll remains one of our favourite little rituals.<\/p>\n
