Thomas Hélye, né à Biville à la fin du XIIème siècle et décédé au château de Vauville en 1257, était un prêtre missionnaire. Il fut béatifié par le pape Pie IX en 1859. On raconte ici que les sentiers entre Biville et Vauville auraient été tracés par le Saint Homme et que la fontaine qui porte son nom serait miraculeuse.
