Cette chapelle a été construite en 1700 par Pierre Eustace à la suite d'un naufrage en 1675. Resté accroché à une planche, il fit le vœu de bâtir une chapelle dans un champ familial s'il revenait sain et sauf. Sauvé par un navire de passage, il tint parole et édifia la chapelle, dont le style imite celui de l'église de la commune.
