La station-service, située quai Alexandre III, n’existe plus aujourd’hui. Pour la scène de Noël, le sol a été recouvert d’une couche de sel d’une dizaine de centimètres d’épaisseur, soit 20 à 30 tonnes. Les toits des maisons environnantes avaient été peints en blanc.

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
