Le Théâtre Municipal de Coutances est une Scène conventionnée d’intérêt national "Art, enfance et jeunesse". Il peut accueillir 650 personnes. Tous les ans au mois de mai a lieu le Festival Jazz sous les Pommiers.

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.
