La batterie "Blankenese" de Néville-sur-Mer est située au nord-est de la pointe du Cotentin.
Cette batterie appartenait à la Kriegsmarine et était équipée de 4 canons anti-aériens britanniques Vickers 94 mm M/39 dans des Casemates type 1xM271 2xM158 1xSK.
Elle fut sabordée au matin du 18 juin 1944 par les marins qui l'occupaient en application du plan "Henrich", déclenché le même jour et qui ordonnait le repli vers la "Festung" Cherbourg.

We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
