La Goule de Braye est une plage de sable publique surveillée très prisée des Cherbourgeois. Elle propose un espace de loisirs d’1,5 ha de gazon et une zone de landage composée d’ajoncs d’Europe, de saules blancs et de pins. Elle est équipée d'une grande aire de jeux et de sanitaires. A proximité du fort de Querqueville, se trouve l’École des spécialités du Commissariat des armées (ESCA), école interarmées de la Manche, installée sur un ancien aérodrome de la Marine française.

We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
