Datant de 1744, c'est un bel exemple de moulin "tour" encore en activité. En effet, seul son toit tourne en glissant sur un rail, à la différence du moulin "pivot" où tout le corps du moulin pivote.
Le moulin tenait autrefois une place importante dans la vie quotidienne. la farine constituait une denrée essentielle nécessaire à la fabrication du pain, base de l'alimentation (1/2 kg de pain par jour et par personne). Le moulin se visite pour découvrir la fabrication de la farine comme autrefois.

We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
