A quelques pas du circuit, l'Abbaye de Montebourg vous ouvre ses portes. Si l'histoire de sa construction est encore aujourd'hui incertaine, une légende raconte son origine "divine". Lors de son pèlerinage, l'ermite Roger s'arrête un soir, fatigué, au pied d'une colline à Montebourg. En s'endormant, il rêve d'une étoile tombant au sommet de la colline. L'ermite y construira Notre-dame de l'Etoile en l'honneur de la Vierge. De style roman normand, et fondée vers 1060, elle regroupe aujourd'hui un collège, un lycée et une exploitation agricole.

We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
