L'histoire protestante de la commune commence en 1553. Trois temples seront construits entre 1610 et 1847. Le premier, érigé au Chêne-Guérin en 1612, a été détruit en 1679. Le petit temple construit entre 1818 et 1824, et le grand temple commencé en 1847 (inachevé) ont été restaurés de 2001 à 2010. Ces deux édifices et le cimetière protestant sont inscrits MH depuis 2006. Un ancien presbytère protestant (désormais privé) est situé à la Brunetière.

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.

Spend an unforgettable day with friends or family canoeing down the Sienne from Quettreville-sur-Sienne to the sea at Hauteville-sur-Mer. Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
