Propriété de la ville de Cherbourg depuis 1935, ce château de la Renaissance ainsi que son parc sont classés Monuments Historiques depuis 1994. Le parc de 12 ha labellisé Jardin Remarquable, associe jardin à la française, à l'anglaise et prairies. Aménagé autour du château par René de Tocqueville au XIXe siècle, il est agrémenté de deux pièces d'eau dont l'une servant de miroir au château et d'une serre à rotonde.

We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
