Au cœur du Bocage Normand, découvrez une ferme hélicicole !

Situé dans un vallon, Christine et Jean-François vous feront partager leur passion pour l'escargot et son élevage. De l’œuf à l'assiette, visitez l'atelier de reproduction et la nurserie.

Après quelques pas sur le sentier de découverte, vous découvrirez les parcs extérieurs. Et enfin, la préparation culinaire des escargots vous sera expliquée devant le laboratoire de transformation en fonction de la période de visite.

Visites pour les particuliers :
Du 2 mai au 15 septembre : le samedi à 15h.
En Juillet et Août : le vendredi et le samedi à 15h00.

What gives this area its strong distinctiveness is its coastal river, the Sienne, passing less than 1 km from La Maison Folia and joining the sea 10 km further. The village of Quettreville-sur-Sienne is 2 kilometers away, where you will find a bakery, doctor, pharmacy, tobacco shop, post office, bars restaurants…

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.

Spend an unforgettable day with friends or family canoeing down the Sienne from Quettreville-sur-Sienne to the sea at Hauteville-sur-Mer. The Sienne descent begins between fields (2-hour journey), continues through the magnificent Sienne Estuary (2.5-hour journey), and ends in the sea at Hauteville-sur-Mer.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
