D'abord en bois puis en granit, les troix croix ont été érigées à la mémoire de plusieurs victimes de la Révolution Française, notamment des prêtres réfractaires, et pour rappeler le souvenir des combats qui eurent lieu dans la région entre les Chouans et les Républicains.
Le site des "Trois Croix" culmine à 172 mètres. Au coucher du soleil, on peut voir briller la mer entre les collines et les falaises de Carolles.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
