Propriété du département Ille-et-Vilaine, qui gère et entretient ce site. Situées au pied de la pointe du Meinga, les dunes du Port ont été acquises en 1977 par le Conservatoire de l'espace littoral : 6,5 hectares de dunes perchées, ayant fait l'objet, dans le passé, d'extractions de sable. La dune perchée, terrasse sableuse adossée sur une falaise morte, présente un profil très particulier permettant à une pelouse rase de se développer au sommet de la dune...Cette formation dunaire, due aux vents, peut se situer par endroits à 25 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
