L'église de Cahagnes a été détruite le 28 juin 1944 lors des combats de la Libération. Une nouvelle église est construite d'après les plans d'un architecte suisse, Herman Bauer.

L'église de la Nativité-de-Notre-Dame a un clocher-beffroi en béton vibré séparé très élancé, mais dont les cloches ont été disjointes et installées cinquante mètres plus loin, près du presbytère.

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
