L'église St-Martin a été bénie le 24 juin 1950 par Mgr Roncalli, futur pape Jean XXIII. Son architecte, M. Le Sauter s'inspira des basiliques romaines.
L'intérieur de l'église est originale avec ses vitraux de Pierre Gaudin, sa mosaïque de Jean Barillet et son chemin de croix insolite.
Moderne, l'église dont la construction commença en 1948 sera consacrée en 1955.

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
