Château de Tourmauville

1766. Propriété privée.

Robert de Mattingley, l'aristocrate anglais de confession protestante, qui a fait édifier ce château , meurt au cours de la période qui suit la révocation de l’édit de Nantes. La commune refuse alors son inhumation dans le cimetière paroissial. Le château est légué en 1962 à l'Association des Amis de Jean Bosco.
Une chapelle est construite au XIX près du château. En 1850, le château de Tourmauville est acheté par Constantin James, disciple de Pasteur, et fervent partisan du thermalisme, qui fait édifier cette chapelle pour éviter de longs trajets jusqu'à l'église à sa femme souffrante.
