Domaine jadis très important, comprenant même une partie des îles anglo-normandes, le Manoir du Quesnay est attesté depuis la fin du Xème siècle. Fruit de remaniements survenus aux XVIIème et XVIIIème siècles, le manoir actuel a conservé toutes les dispositions d'un grand domaine seigneurial. Outre son rôle important durant la guerre de cent ans, sa chapelle, aujourd'hui en ruine, fut un haut lieu du protestantisme durant les guerres de religion.

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
