Ce jardin romantique d'un hectare est composé de plusieurs plantes dont des variétés rares. Depuis l’été 2019, Marcel Vanhove ouvre les portes de son jardin composé de 200 rosiers, 65 érables du Japon, 30 cornus, 165 hydrangeas, 170 rhododendrons, 20 viornes, 20 cerisiers du Japon et 550 variétés d'hémérocalles.
Le jardin est aménagé en différents espaces : mixed borders, roseraie, jardin d'ombres, théâtre de verdure... Un plan d'eau accueille des carpes Koï. Pépinière sur place.

Located 10 minutes from large sandy beaches and a few kilometers from major Norman destinations such as Mont St-Michel, the D-Day beaches, and the Chausey Islands, La Maison Folia enjoys an exceptional position. It offers you a multitude of activities:

The village of Quettreville-sur-Sienne is 2 kilometers away, where you will find a bakery, doctor, pharmacy, tobacco shop, post office, bars restaurants…

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.

Spend an unforgettable day with friends or family canoeing down the Sienne from Quettreville-sur-Sienne to the sea at Hauteville-sur-Mer. The Sienne descent begins between fields (2-hour journey), continues through the magnificent Sienne Estuary (2.5-hour journey), and ends in the sea at Hauteville-sur-Mer.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
