Chateaubriand était un écrivain très connue. Il a raconté sa vie comme une grande histoire, et c’est pour cela qu’on se souvient de lui aujourd’hui.
François-René de Chateaubriand était un écrivain françaisqui est né en 1768, il y a très longtemps, il est né ici a Saint-Malo, en Bretagne, tout près de la mer. Chateaubriand a grandi dans un grand château appelé le château de Combourg, en Bretagne. Il y vivait avec son père, et sa mère, il aimait beaucoup lire, rêver et voulais voyager.
Il est célèbre pour avoir écrit de belles histoires et poèmes qui parlent de la nature,etdes émotions, comme son livre le plus célèbre qui s’appelle "René"
Chateaubriand a même construit sa maison sur une île, juste en face de Saint-Malo !

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.
