1945 - 2026 : Rétrospective de la vie du fort d'alet

Rétrospective de la vie du fort de 1945 à nos jours, avec passage par le poste de commandement de l'artillerie rénové en 2022. En cas de pluie ou de vent fort, possibilité de modification du programme.

Visite de 10 à 11h40 et de 14h à 17h40.
Départ de la visite toutes les 20 minutes.
Durée de la visite : 50 minutes.

The village of Quettreville-sur-Sienne is 2 kilometers away, where you will find a bakery, doctor, pharmacy, tobacco shop, post office, bars restaurants…

The sea is 9 km away, accessible by country roads. You can find popular large sandy beaches like in Hauteville-sur-Mer or Agon-Coutainville, or more wild beaches like in Annoville. At low tide, the sea recedes to leave 2 km of beach.

Discover the Sienne Estuary by Canoe
Spend an unforgettable day with friends or family canoeing down the Sienne from Quettreville-sur-Sienne to the sea at Hauteville-sur-Mer. The Sienne descent begins between fields (2-hour journey), continues through the magnificent Sienne Estuary (2.5-hour journey), and ends in the sea at Hauteville-sur-Mer.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
