Le Mémorial de Graignes-Mesnil-Angot est un mémorial Franco-Américain érigé en hommage aux civils normands et aux soldats américains, qui périrent pendant la bataille du 6 au 12 juin 1944. L’inauguration eut lieu le dimanche 12 juin 1949, en présence de M. David Bruce, ambassadeur des États-Unis en France. Sous le Mémorial, une grande plaque de marbre porte en lettres d’or les noms de soixante-trois victimes des combats, trente-deux civils et trente-et-un parachutistes américains.

Siouville La Hague is one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Normandy. The on-site surf club rents boards and wetsuits for €20: www.cotentinsurfclub.com. We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
