Ces zones marécageuses ont pour origine des vallons creusés il y a plusieurs milliers d'années au-dessous du niveau de la mer. Puis, un cordon sableux s'est formé, gênant l'écoulement des ruisseaux vers la mer. L'eau est ainsi retenue et forme des étangs qui se sont comblés au fil des années et qui se transforment en marais.

We have a catamaran (newcat 16); if you practice, we can discuss it. Besides that, catamaran, stand-up paddle, and sand yachting rentals are available in Hauteville-sur-Mer.
