La Maison Fives: Before / After… or rather: now / soon
We’re almost there! 🤠 The La Maison Fives project is making great progress, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Located in the heart of the booming Lille Fives Cail district, our dream is taking shape—and it’s thanks to you that we want to reveal every step, even the ones still in progress.
Right now, it’s a large house stretching 30 meters along the sidewalk. But tomorrow, it will be a vibrant living space. A place where art, design, and hospitality meet.
Transformation in progress:
– The former garages are turning into a bright atelier-boutique, dedicated to ceramics and artistic creations. A true delight for art lovers! – On the large left-hand side, you’ll find our Five Room Hotel, a guesthouse with 5 rooms—each space thoughtfully designed to make you feel right at home. – In between, we’ve imagined a courtyard, a kitchen, and welcoming shared spaces like a library, a spacious living room, and an open dining area for moments of connection.
Work starts in August, and we’re aiming to open on November 29, 2025. But before that, we want to take you along for the ride. We’ll be sharing updates on the interior, the work, the doubts, the ideas… in short, everything that makes up the soul of La Maison Fives.
Stay tuned and follow our updates so you don’t miss a thing from this amazing transformation!

Sunday is the perfect day to relax and enjoy a good brunch. In Lille, we discovered a place that will delight your taste buds: La Clairière, a charming restaurant located at 75 boulevard de la Liberté. Nestled under the trees, it’s the ideal spot for a terrace brunch, surrounded by color and good vibes.

We were served a savory dish and a sweet one, along with fresh juice and a hot drink. It’s generous, joyful, and makes us want to come back every Sunday.
Brunch is served until 3 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your morning before indulging. For those looking for a place that combines delicious food with respect for specific dietary needs, La Clairière is a must-visit in Lille.

A New Culinary Address in Lille: RÖK Opens on Place Philippe Lebon
Lille Fives Cail’s culinary scene continues to grow with the arrival of RÖK, a new spot that promises to delight seafood lovers. Since June 25, 2025, this establishment has opened its doors on Place Philippe Lebon, bringing a salty breeze to our city. Come for half a dozen oysters paired with a glass of white wine, all in a seaside holiday atmosphere. No need to head to Oléron to catch the sea breeze—Lille now does the job!
RÖK sits halfway between a bar-restaurant and a deli, offering both on-site tastings and the chance to take home some marine treasures. After the success of their first location in La Madeleine, the RÖK team has decided to conquer Lille with their welcoming counter. On the menu: fresh oysters, smoked fish, and artisanal preserves—pure delight for the taste buds.
We’re betting that the RÖK terrace will quickly become a favorite spot as soon as the sun comes out. It’s the perfect place to gather with friends or family and soak up the vibrant neighborhood atmosphere. And who knows, maybe you’ll run into us—Ben and Soula—enjoying a seafood platter after a full day at our guesthouse and ceramic studio & boutique.
Where to Stay for a Concert or Event at Le Nouveau Siècle in Lille?
A Peaceful and Welcoming Stay at La Maison Fives, Near Le Nouveau Siècle
Le Nouveau Siècle is much more than just a concert hall. Located in the historic heart of Lille, just steps from the Grand Place, this cultural and conference complex is home to the Orchestre National de Lille and hosts symphonic concerts, prestigious events, conferences, and even film-concerts. Its auditorium, proudly named after renowned conductor Jean-Claude Casadesus, is famous for its exceptional acoustics and high-quality programming.
Whether you’re coming for a Beethoven symphony, a professional meeting, or a unique cinematic experience, choosing a peaceful and inspiring place to stay can completely transform your visit. La Maison Fives, located just minutes away by metro, bike, or car from Le Nouveau Siècle, offers exactly the kind of haven you need after an intense event.
Le Nouveau Siècle: Where Heritage Meets Modernity
Built in 1983 by architect Guillaume Gillet, Le Nouveau Siècle is a symbol of modern architecture, perfectly integrated into Lille’s historical cityscape. It stands in contrast and dialogue with the classical buildings of the city center, like the Lille Opera House or the Old Stock Exchange. A guesthouse with just five carefully decorated rooms, each with its own private bathroom.
A calm and soothing atmosphere, ideal for relaxing after a show or a busy event.
A ground floor room easily accessible if needed.
An authentic neighborhood, lively but far from the noise and tourist crowds of downtown Lille.
The Fives Cail Neighborhood: A Revamped Industrial Heritage
Staying at La Maison Fives means more than just proximity to Le Nouveau Siècle. You’ll also be at the heart of a unique area: Fives Cail. Once an industrial powerhouse of Lille, Fives Cail has been completely transformed into a vibrant hub for culture, design, and local gastronomy.
Don’t miss the chance to discover:
Chaud Bouillon, a committed canteen serving homemade meals made with local products.
La Brasserie Fives Cail, a welcoming craft brewery where you can enjoy beers brewed on-site.
The design school ESDAC Lille, actively contributing to the neighborhood’s cultural and creative life.
By staying here, you’ll experience an authentic and evolving city, off the beaten tourist path.
